"Dr. Austin-Hui is amazing!!!! I did a ton of research when it came to my skincare routine, and while my skin was okay, I was still struggling with adult acne, melasma, and rosacea. Dr. Austin was able to revamp my routine using evidence-based care and high quality products and it made all the difference. She made me feel empowered to achieve the skin I was dreaming of and because of her attention to detail and excellence as a clinician she made it a reality. Most recently she was instrumental in making sure my skin was wedding ready. She had multiple tricks up her sleeve to keep the stress breakouts away so my skin was glowing for my big day. "I've tried so many skin care products to address my acne, scars, and texture over the years and nothing worked. Then I went to a "medical spa" to treat my skin issues, which was a big mistake because most med spas just hire sales reps who are not medically trained or certified. They burned my face badly, did not know how to fix it, and told me to try products that made the condition even worse. That was when I decided to consult a dermatologist for a second opinion and was so lucky I found Dr. Austin at BACD!During the initial consultation, Dr. Austin explained what was causing my skin problems, came up with a treatment plan, and answered all of my questions. She's an expert in her field with extensive medical knowledge about how skin reacts to multiple factors such as lifestyle choices or other medical conditions, and I trust that she's considering everything holistically whenever she recommends a treatment. It has been 6 months ever since I started seeing Dr. Austin and my skin looks better than ever. Not only did Dr. Austin fix the damage from the last med spa I went to, but multiple friends have told me that I'm aging in reverse! :) As other reviews mentioned, BACD isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for. "I have been seeing Dr. Austin for 4 years now. I initially saw her when I was experiencing some difficult to treat acne in my early 20s. She listened to my concerns and really educated me on proper skin care. Since then she has continued to help provide new products/recommendations based on my needs at that time. I have also been seeing her for filler and botox treatments for the past two years. She has always listened to what I wanted and given me incredible results. She keeps things natural and really has an amazing eye for the face and facial structure. Beyond her work, she is a really incredible doctor. Her bedside manner is unparalleled and she is always evidence based in her practice. She is a beautiful person who works hard to help others feel beautiful. 11/10 would recommend."

"I have been seeing Dr. Hui Austin for 6 years now and she is the BEST dermatologist who has cared for my skin in my life. I've been seeing dermatologists since I was 12 years old because of acne and I've also moved around the US and Europe. Dr. Hui Austin is honestly a miracle worker. She is always kind and empathetic and I would not entrust my skin to anyone else with some of the procedures I've undergone to "refresh" myself. She helps me with my perioral dermatitis as well as rosacea, and checks me for skin cancer yearly because I worshipped the sun in my younger years. My skin looks amazing. It's as if she has stopped the clock for me and even turned it back! I trust her eye for aesthetics and precision and I've always left her office with a smile. I would say that my acne scars have been improved by 80% after multiple sessions of tca cross and laser genesis. Most of my ice pick scars have filled in. Recently I also had Fraxel laser to improve the shallow scars , black spots, and overall skin texture. Dr. Austin is amazing and she cares about her patient. She would call me after the procedure to make sure that I was doing fine. She also responded very quickly on all my questions related to post-procedure. "I am not exaggerating when I say that Dr. Andrea Hui Austin is a LIFE CHANGER. I've been seeing her for almost two years now for treatment of my rosacea and acne and skin is clearer than it's ever been, clearer than I ever hoped it would be. I first started seeing Dr. Austin in 2019, a few months after I turned 31. I'd been diagnosed with rosacea in middle school and had otherwise had fairly clear skin until I reached college. In college, I started breaking out more and more frequently until my acne was basically chronic. Some people in my family had late-bloomer acne, so I told myself it would probably just clear up as I got older, and I tried to take the best care of my skin that I could in the meantime. I tried every OTC treatment under the sun, went on different diets, and saw a series of dermatologists who put me on a range of topical medications and oral antibiotics. Nothing made much of a difference and by my late 20s I'd was so close to giving up and resigning myself to having bad skin for the rest of my life, although it made me feel miserable.That's when I realized that the one thing I hadn't tried was seeing a dermatologist who specializes in treating rosacea. I did some googling and Dr. Austin's name came up again and again, so I scheduled a consult. My expectations weren't high, given how little luck I'd had before. But Dr. Austin completely blew me away in the consult. Not only was she able to explain why my rosacea was causing these breakouts, but I was blown away by her empathy; she started the appointment by asking me to tell her about my history of rosacea and acne and after I went through the litany of things I'd tried she said, "I'm so sorry you had to go through that." It made me tear up to feel like someone cared and understood how much having bad skin can take a toll on self-esteem.She started me on a routine of oral medication and new topical skincare products, and did an excellent job of answering all my questions and explaining how each product or medication worked and why it was necessary. I noticed a difference in my skin within weeks, and once the breakouts were more under control we began a series of laser treatments to help tame the rosacea. As my skin continued to heal and improve, the treatments became less frequent, and I'm now at the point where I only have them a few times a year. My skin has healed enough that she's also able to address the scarring I have from acne and, honestly, that's a milestone I never thought I'd reach until I started working with her. She's continued to be a thoughtful and kind person, celebrating the milestones with me as my skin healed, remembering details about my personal life, and engaging me in conversation during the treatments; I feel like she really cares.As a bonus, the whole BACD staff is competent, professional, and friendly. They keep things running smoothly, call/email back quickly, and have a very flexible auto-ship program that sends my topical products to me four times a year. BACD has done a sterling job of adapting to the pandemic--they've put up signage, spaced out appointments, created physical distance in the waiting room, and changed their payment process so you pay in the treatment room. I've noticed some other places get lax with these types of measures as the pandemic has gone on, but BACD has been incredibly consistent, which I appreciate.If you have rosacea and acne, Dr. Austin is your gal. She's truly and completely changed my skin in a way I never thought possible. "Dr. Austin has changed my life. My skin has significantly cleared up since I started seeing her, I RARELY get any pimples now and thanks to treatments like the Vbeam laser and TCA cross my scarring is very limited. All the staff and Dr. Austin are friendly and kind, it’s always a good experience going in. Dr. Austin remembers details about my life even when I don’t see her for months at a time. I recommend her to any of my friends who ask for skincare advice. "Dr. Austin is an incredible dermatologist. I have been working with her for over a year to improve my acne scars. She is thorough and kind. In our initial consultation, she mapped out what my 2 year plan would look like. She always makes me feel so comfortable, and I have seen amazing results with her recommendation of subcision and TCA cross peels. I plan to start laser resurfacing as well. Love her work, and coming into her wonderful office!"
"Dr. Austin has worked wonders for my skin. I'm currently 26 years old and have suffered from acne since I was 12. In the pre-Dr.Austin days, my acne would flare up before my period, resulting in 2-4 painful bumps in the chin/cheek areas. It was never bad enough for me to try more serious treatments like Accutane, but the combination of active/healing acne with mild rosacea made me feel like I couldn't go out without several layers of foundation. As a teenager, I tried everything for my acne: salicylic acid spot treatments, benozyl peroxide cleansers, tea tree oil, and clindamycin peroxide (which worked amazingly well for a few weeks until it stopped working completely). In my adult life, I came to accept acne as a recurring monthly struggle, even though I continued to be insanely envious of other Asian women with effortlessly beautiful skin. Earlier this year, my acne suddenly got worse. Instead of annoying (but manageable) monthly spots, I experienced several large, painful cysts along my chin that stayed for weeks. My skin was so bad that makeup didn't help: foundation would flake off almost instantly. I decided to finally see a dermatologist...and luckily I found Dr. Austin! Dr. Austin put me on a treatment consisting primarily of spironolactone and tretinoin. She simplified my skin routine from 10 items to a manageable 4. I can't begin to describe how much my skin has improved. Both spironolactone and tretinoin take a while to kick-in, but after approximately 1 month into the new routine, I started to see dramatic results. No more breakouts, plus my skin texture has improved by so much - coworkers and friends have all commented on the glow! The new routine from Dr. Austin has seriously been a god-send. I wish I had discovered this routine back in high school; it would have saved me so many years of frustration and distress. I now religiously follow my skincare routine - and without exaggerating, I have not had a single pimple in the last 5 months (fingers crossed that it stays that way). "Dr. Hui Austin is amazing!! She has honestly changed my life. I have been struggling with melasma for the last five years and have tried so many different treatments spending thousands of dollars with minimal results (cosmelan peel, chemical peels, acupuncture, etc.) After our first initial consultation I felt like I had hope with this condition that had consumed me for years. Her confidence in her work and the results she expects to see I believe is the kind of confidence every doctor should instill in their patients. She came up with a skin care plan for me that included at home care and in office treatments and the results have been life changing. I now get compliments on my skin! Not only has it cleared up my melasma but no more blemishes, less fine lines and shrunken pores are all added bonuses with my skin care regimen. "Where do I begin?! Dr. Andrea Austin is a talented dermatologist who is passionate about what she does. I have struggled with acne and severe redness since I was a teenager, and have seen many dermatologists. Dr. Austin immediately diagnosed rosacea, and put together a plan of action. For the past year, I have done a combination of VBeam laser, topical, and oral medication. The difference has been astounding. What I thought was straight hormonal acne was really rosacea related. My skin glows now, and I rarely wear make up. Now that my skin is under control, Dr. Austin has helped me take it to the next level, and we have started a regime of retin A, botox, and restalyne. She has an artist's eye, and truly makes you look like a younger, better-rested version of yourself! The office is very professional and easy to work with. I appreciate the fridge full of seltzers, and their well stocked over the counter products. Thank you Dr. Austin!"

"Dr Austin is the absolute best! She transformed my skin! I started seeing her a little under a year ago for stubborn and persistent acne and melasma, as well as scarring from years of cystic acne. On the first visit, she promised me she could get my skin clear and completely rid me of the dreaded melasma. "This review is long overdue. If I could give Dr. Austin 1000 stars, I would. I went to see Dr. Austin for my stubborn, life long problem skin, which started at age 11 with cystic acne, and morphed into constant hives, adult acne and rosacea subtype 2, and 4 in my early 30s. I had been seen by countless doctors about my skin including 4 different, highly rated SF dermatologists before Dr. Austin to try to treat my rosacea/acne/hives, including the UCSF autoimmune dermatology clinic. I had been prescribed creams, done lasers and changed my diet, but nothing made any difference at all. On my first visit, Dr. Austin assured me she was 100% confident she would cure my rosacea and fix my skin. CURE. That's a pretty big word in the medical community, and I admit I was skeptical. "I started seeing Dr. Hui (now Austin) in June 2018. So far, I’m very satisfied with the result. I suffered from acne as a teenager which lead to many scars on my face. I have tried so many different treatments including dermabrasion, CO2 laser, chemical peels, photo facial, micro-needling, etc. in the past 20 years to improve the large pores and scars. However, some of the treatments made my skin even worse than before and also left more scars on my face. My skin became extremely sensitive and was prone to scarring after break out. The micro-needling helps to improve some shallower scars but not the deep ice pick scars. I was so discouraged but I don’t want to live with scars for the rest of my life. I’m so lucky that found Dr. Hui. She outlined a treatment plan for me. She recommended some skin care products, Laser Genesis and TCA Cross. At first, I was skeptical but I wanted to give it a last try. At the consultation appointment, Dr. Hui performed the TCA Cross on 5 test spots. She did not charge me extra for the test spots other than the consultation fee. So far, I had 2 treatments of Laser Genesis and TCA Cross. I’ve been following her face regimen and using all the products she recommended. I still need to do a few more sessions but I can see a great improvement in my skin. Most of the scars that have been crossed are much shallower and smaller than before. There are a few ice pick scars have completely filled in. I couldn’t believe it because those scars were on my face for 20+ years. TCA cross has shown me the most improvement on my scars of anything I have done before. The patches on my skin are gone and my skin is much firmer. I will confine this treatment until all my scars are filled in. Please keep in mind that the scars may look worse when the scars first fall off but they will continue to fill in and heal over time. The process can take from 2-6 months after the treatment. Please be patience. Dr. Hui and NP Mary are amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Hui for those who are suffering from acne scars."
"Dr. Austin saved my skin (and my life!)I started seeing Dr. Austin in May, when I was really frustrated and at a breaking point after dealing with severe cystic acne for quite some time. It got so bad that even leaving my house was a struggle. After a quick consultation, Dr. Austin got down to business. "I have struggled with severe acne for my whole life and have spent thousands of dollars on proactive, x-out, bioré, natural solutions like witch hazel, tea tree oil, etc. None of these products worked for me and some of them made my skin severely dry, red, or caused my hyper-pigmentation to be more noticeable. I was losing hope that I would ever have clear skin until I came across TCA peels (trichloroacetic acid) on youtube, I saw that there was a lot of positive reviews as well as horror stories , but I felt like I was out of options so I decided to set up a consultation at Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology, I didn't feel like my skin could get any worse so even if the skin peel didn't work, I felt that It was still worth the risk. When I first arrived, it was a 250 dollar fee for new patients and they looked at my skin and offered several products for a skin care regiment and they told me that my skin issues were caused because my body produced a little more testosterone then a normal woman. They prescribe me spironolactone to help prevent further extreme break outs and tranexamic acid to help with my hyper-pigmentation, after one month I noticed a severe decline in break outs. Before I was on these medications I was getting 5 - 10 new pimples every week plus back acne, after being on these medications it was like 1 or 2 every month. After getting my acne settled, we then started to work on my hyper pigmentation, I had expressed that I wanted a TCA peel but Dr.Austin told me that with my skin tone a TCA peel would be too extreme and might remove the melanin from my skin. I didn't want to ruin my skin tone but I also didn't want the dark spots, Dr.Austin then recommended that I get a less deep peel and we decided to go with either a lactic acid peel or a glycolic acid peel. When I received my first peel I noticed dramatic changes. I still had a lot hyper pigmentation but it was very different from before. I am now 7 peels in and I am very happy with my results! I wish I would have come here sooner, it would have saved me thousands in skin care products that didn't work for me. Each peel I received was 250$, and worth every penny. I was incredibly nervous for the first subcision treatment & Dr. Hui made me feel so comfortable and walked me through the process very slowly. "I suffer from acne scarring quite significantly on my cheeks. When I went for my consultation, Dr Hui suggested subcision with micropen treatments & said I’d need 4-6. I was incredibly nervous for the first subcision treatment & Dr. Hui made me feel so comfortable and walked me through the process very slowly. "This review is long overdue for DrHui, who shows me how to love my skin again. Her treatment is very effective in clearing my severe cystic acne and correcting uneven skin tone. I have had 6 v beam laser sessions with Dr Hui in past 6 months, and my skin has transformed. I do not have to worry about switching products, looking for DYI face mask, or avoiding foods I like to eat. Her treatment plan is individualized, which I m sure of, and for me I simply follow her face regimen, use all products she recommend, and go to VBeam appointment every 4-6weeks. "Eternally grateful to have found Dr. Hui - I have battled back acne for over 30 years and over that time have seen different dermatologists, have been prescribed oral antibiotics such as erythromycin and doxycycline, have had 3 rounds of Accutane in the late '90's, early 2000's, and tried different prescription creams. Despite all of these efforts, acne and scarring have continued to persist. "I can't say enough good things about Dr Welsh and Dr Huy. I have been seeing Dr Welsh for 20 years, since high school. She has saved my face a few times... Severe cystic acne, severe acne scarring all over my entire face, a dog attack that severely mangled my cheek... big stuff. Over the course of my life I have experienced that feeling of shame and insecurity because my face looked so messed up that I didn't want people to look at me. And every time, Dr Welsh put my face back together and then some. Which essentially gives you your life back, because you can face the world with confidence and really show up and be present in conversations, instead of tripping out over how how destroyed your face looks.Those are the extreme cases that Dr Welsh has helped me through. Always, she is compassionate, straight up, and comes up with a game plan and a timeline, and doesn't want to stop until whatever the issue is perfectly resolved. Pretty much everything you want when you put your face in someone's hands.Now I am in my late 30s so there are a new bag of things that that can be improved upon that pop up: wrinkles, face and lips losing its fullness, and discoloration (hyperpigmentation). And again, I don't trust anyone to mess with my face, EVER, unless its Dr Welsh or Dr Huy. Dr Welsh is a master at filler because she basically refuses to make you look unnatural. She will make you look refreshed and well-slept, but even if I beg for slightly fuller lips she looks at me and says, "No." That's what you want. Someone who says no. Dr Huy is amazing. At first I felt like I was cheating on Dr Welsh by seeing her as well but she is awesome and just as skilled. I highly recommend you try her, because they have similar approaches and equal skill set. "I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Hui!When I first saw her I was suffering from rosacea and as a result, very sensitive skin. I couldn't use any over the counter products like face wash or moisturizer. I also had a lot of tiny red blood vessels that made me look red all the time. And I always had at least one zit at any given time.Dr. Hui took the time to explain why this was all happening and what she was going to do to help. She answered all of my questions and didn't rush through the appointment like so many other doctors do.She ended up recommending a bunch of products as well as laser treatments. Even after the appointment, she was super responsive when I emailed her in a panic because my skin was out of control.Now, everything is great. The rosacea has cleared and so have the zits. "First of all, I want to thank Dr Hui, who has transformed my skin. I have rosacea/acne/eczema (and some other stuff...). I am a doctor myself, and I had tried everything. I had been to numerous dermatologists for lasers and prescriptions creams. I did my research, and I felt like I was following the most up-to-date medical guidelines for my skin and still nothing was getting better. As my skin got worse, I tried Eastern medicine, accupuncture, and regular facials. I was spending too much money and time, but beginning to feel like I wanted to hide because of how bad my skin had gotten. When I read the reviews, it just seemed too good to be true. It's not - Dr Hui is really worth the hype! As soon as I walked in to the clinic, I noticed that all their patients had beautiful, glowing skin. If anything can advertise their results, it's just sitting in their waiting room. Then, I met Dr Hui: she is smart, attentive to details, and confident. She gave me time to explain and listened attentively. I had follow-up questions after the appointment, and she responded within hours. Basically, as a doctor myself, I can say that she is pretty much everything you could want in a doctor. Dr Hui prescribed a super simple regimen along with laser treatment. Although all of the products are helpful, I want to comment on their own clinic rosacea cream, which is uniquely incredible: it is gentler and more effective than any of the prescriptions that I'd tried. "I visited Dr. Hui for my acne scars due to a life time acne problem. Before that I have been to many dermatologists back at home and in the Bay Area and she is the only one who has diagnosed my skin problem correctly. My face has always been reddish and flushing due to many factors and I thought that those redness was due to my acne scars. She told me I had rosacea, prescribed some amazing products and started applying fractional laser treatment once a month. She actually recommended the lightening pads as a more affordable solution to help with my brown pigmentation on my shoulder, chest and back so that I didn't have to spend more money on laser. I was very pleased with this idea because I was expecting to spend upwards of $1,400 before Dr. Hui recommended a more reasonable, thoughtful solution. All in all, the prices are NOT expensive and if you want your skin to look great, see Dr. Hui. Not everyone is the same but if you have a skin issues, you will most likely need some sort of IPL laser, which is exactly what Dr Hui specializes in. I have lived in Minnesota and Colorado and the prices are the same as the dermatologist in both land locked states. People say the prices are expensive because cosmetic dermatology as a industry is expensive. If you have any skin issues and would like to finally have them addressed, please visit Dr. Hui and her wonder staff. She is beautiful in and out and will get you the results you need."

"I have battled back acne for over 30 years and over that time have seen different dermatologists, have been prescribed oral antibiotics such as erythromycin and doxycycline, have had 3 rounds of Accutane in the late '90's, early 2000's, and tried different prescription creams. Despite all of these efforts, acne and scarring have continued to persist. So after receiving a product sample at a school fundraiser, and looking at their site, I figured I would try yet another approach. After an initial consultation with Dr. Hui 2 months ago and buying many expensive but effective skin products, I started to see a significant improvement in the acne...finally! In a subsequent visit 6 weeks ago, I had a chemical peel with remarkable improvement in the scarring and discoloration. "Before I started seeing Dr. Hui and Dr. Welsh, I had very oily skin, frequent breakouts and a fair amount of redness and blemishes. I wore cover-up often and carried oil-absorbing sheets with me everywhere. Although I didn't have "severe acne," I was not satisfied with the appearance of my skin, and wished that I didn't need to manage it so much. At Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology, I have had laser and resurfacing treatments with Dr. Hui, Mary, Claire and Mabel (who are amazing to work with!) and have seen pretty dramatic results in evening my skin complexion and texture, and getting rid of red blemishes. I was initially hesitant to invest in the skin care routine they recommended, as I hadn't had much success with products in the past, but I can honestly say that my skin has never been better. "Dr. Hui is phenomenal! I came in thinking that I had a very bad case of acne, Dr. Hui properly diagnosed and cured my rosacea. I had large bumps and redness on my cheeks. She gave me topical treatments, vitamins, and vbeam treatments. I was hesitant about the vbeam but Dr. Hui took the time to explain the treatment and I'm so glad we went forward with it! I moved to San Francisco earlier this year and was in need of a new dermatologist and I am so happy to have found Dr. Hui! My doctor said that I would see great improvement if I did the Fraxel Repair. I did it and spend a boat load of money-- for really no results. "Dr. Hui has been a godsend for my rosacea-prone, inflamed, acne-scarred skin that is highly sensitized to pretty much everything. I thought I'd tried every product out there for very sensitive skin (OTC as well as seeing other dermatologists), and had pretty much resigned myself to having to wear makeup every time I left the house so my face didn't look like a splotchy mess. But then I read great reviews about the practice and decided to see Dr. Hui, and my skin has been transformed. I told her my goal was to wear zero makeup, and we've been steadily progressing towards that goal with great results. She made me discard my overly complicated skincare routine and get back to basics. My skincare routine now takes 30 seconds in the morning and 2 minutes at night, and my skin looks so much better in every way. I've been using the products Dr. Hui recommended that have made a huge difference, and have also been getting V-beam laser treatments that have also been significant in getting rid of the diffuse redness throughout my face. My skincare routine is so much more basic than before (no more time-consuming multiple serums and many face masks), but more effective by leaps and bounds. I've also gotten facial hair removal done by Dr. Hui and have seen great results with that. Also wanted to give a big shout out to Mary, one of the nurses at the practice. My skin was affecting my social life and desire to see people in a negative way and was a constant source of stress and anxiety (which only made my acne worse). That is, until I began working with Dr. Hui in the summer between my freshman and sophomore year of college. In the year since meeting Dr. Hui my acne and scarring has improved dramatically. I am now more confident and excited about going out and seeing people.Dr. Hui started me on a very low dose of Accutane and a nighttime retin-a. Her goal was to clear up the acne first and then work on the scarring underneath. When the acne began to clear up, Dr. Hui started doing V-Beam lasers on my scarring. This reduced the red spots on my skin that I had had for years. Before the V-Beam I couldn't remember the last time that I looked at my face and it wasn't a red, blotchy mess. I will continue on the low dose of the Accutane and the nighttime retin-a and hopefully my skin will clear up more every day. In addition to the actual work that she did on my skin, Dr. Hui and Mabel, Chrissy, Isabel, and Euridice were incredibly warm and accommodating. Dr. Hui and her MAs always spent time explaining every detail of my skin regiment to me and answering any questions that I had (no matter how ridiculous). They were very patient and I never felt rushed. Not only were they friendly and fun to talk to in person, but they always responded to my calls and emails (which I used to send constantly) as fast as any doctors office ever has. "I started to see Dra. Andrea Hui in the end of May (2015), because I had the most crazy acne during the whole semester, due to stress, and as I am not from United States it took me a while until I get to the clinic. I had some facials done in other places along the semester, but they weren't helpful at all, the acne just kept getting worst. When I finally got to see Dra. Hui was when everything started to change, she is an amazing person and really understands what your skin needs. As I am very anxious I firstly scheduled a consult to know more about the Fraxel laser, but she told me how we first needed to control the acne before treating the scars. The process is not easy and it can get very bad until it starts to get better, but you have to trust Dra. Hui and her assistant, Euridice because it is all part of the process. There is no shortcuts and you have to follow the routine and commit to the treatment, and they are the best people to help you get through it, not only because of their knowledge but because they are also very caring people. The first three months were the hardest for me, but from the fourth to the fifth things started to get really good, the breakouts were almost non-existent, and my skin texture was completely changed. I had a lot of redness from inflammation so before doing the Fraxel we did a couple of V Beam laser sections, and they were amazing, after the first one I didn't see a huge change, but after the second and the third I was very impressed. For me the worst part of having acne is that it makes you feel very bad to be in your own skin, and how the coverage that makeup gives still doesn't actually help to make you feel better. And I really like how Dra. Hui understands that, I really recommend her, she is very correct and professional, so you can trust her completely, she knows the steps and the right moment to do the different treatments that your skin might need. Some tips I would give is to schedule your consult in a day and time you will probably leave the clinic and go home, it is easier to do the procedures in days you don't need to be anywhere afterwards. And mostly if you have problems with acne get it treated with a great professional such as Dra. Hui and her staff, because there are so many products and false promises out there, and to have the guidance of someone who actually knows what she is doing is the only way to have real and lasting improvement."

"In short, Dr. Andrea Hui is amazing at what she does. I had suffered from acne for about 9 years, starting at the age of 14. Despite all the acne regimens, diet changes, home remedies and exercise, I could never achieve clear skin. I then reached a point where I just gave up. I had acne from my temples down to my chin and both cheeks. Worst of all, my skin scars so all marks just stay and darken and it would take layers of make up to cover it up (when I came to see Dr. Hui, I was using liquid AND powder foundation in conjunction with concealer to cover the scars-- that's how bad it was). At the same time, I was hesitant to see a dermatologist because I didn't want to be prescribed Accutane like everyone else (those side effects - no thank you). By random chance, I met Dr. Andrea Hui. The first thing I told Dr. Hui was "I give up on my skin, you can try." But Dr. Hui took one look at my skin and said, "We're going to clear it up, you just have a slight hormonal problem." From there, I was put on a retinoid cream, spironolactone, aczone gel and a temporary antibiotic. She also advised on best cleanser and moisturizer/sunscreen to use. Because of Dr. Hui, my acne is cleared. Whoo hoo!I just wanted to update my review to talk about my last appointment, which was filler by Dr. Hui- Restylane Silk to be exact. DANG! I'm half Sicilian and part Cherokee Indian. One of the dominating hereditary traits in my Sicilian side is the dark, saggy, under eye area. On the Native American side, high cheekbones angle no way that kind of Pinterest things at the center of my face. It basically causes most people on the Indian side of my family to have deep lines on either side of our nose and mouth. Have literally had these lines and saggies since I was a little girl.
