How does Tixel work?
Tixel leverages thermomechanical energy, a technology developed by Novoxel, which combines motion and heat to deliver energy through a titanium tip. The device uses quick, fractionated heat, making it safe for all skin types. Unlike ablative lasers, Tixel preserves the epidermis and stratum corneum, resulting in less downtime for patients. The thermal energy creates tiny, non-ablative micro-injuries that form dehydrated channels, enhancing the absorption of topical treatments for deeper penetration. Who is a candidate for Tixel?
- Tixel is for anyone who is looking for improvements to the appearance of lines and wrinkles, uneven skin, tone and texture, acne and acne, scarring, and crepey skin.
- Tixel is safe for all skin types. Darker skin tones may be prescribed skin brightening topicals for 2 to 4 weeks prior to treatment to reduce the risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
