We love thinking of ways to maximize your results and our treatment plans can be customized to who you are. Pairing the Emsculpt NEO + Emtone has been a favorite for our patients and leads to even more transformative outcomes.

HOW DOES TAUT + TONED WORK?

EMSCULPT NEO is based on an applicator simultaneously emitting synchronized RF and HIFEM+ energies.

Due to the radiofrequency heating, the muscle temperature quickly rises by several degrees. This prepares muscles for exposure to stress, similar to what a warm-up activity does before any workout. In fewer than 4 minutes, the temperature in subcutaneous fat reaches levels that cause apoptosis, i.e. fat cells are permanently damaged and slowly removed from the body. Clinical studies showed on average a 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat.

HIFEM+ energy contracts the muscle fibers in the area at intensities that are not achievable during voluntary workouts. Extreme stress forces the muscle to adapt resulting in an increase in the number and growth of muscle fibers and cells. Clinical studies showed on average a 25% growth in muscle volume.

Emtone works by using a device that emits radio frequency and acoustic waves that help to enhance circulation. This combination leads to collagen production and increased fat reduction when combined with the Emsculpt NEO.

AM I CANDIDATE?

Anyone who is looking to tone up and slim down is a candidate for the Taut + Toned procedure. It’s also our first device that is effective on body types of up to 35 BMI!

Please note that if you have any metal located in the treatment area you will not be able to treat with Emsculpt NEO, but please contact our office as we have other options available.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

During your complimentary consultation, one of our body specialists will design your individual treatment plan. We typically recommend 6 treatments, scheduled every 7 - 10 days apart. Many people will opt for maintenance treatments as needed. Treatment for a single area takes approximately 30 minutes, but you may need to allow up to an hour in our office.

WHAT AREAS CAN I TREAT?

We can treat the abdomen, front of thighs, back of thighs, glutes, love handles and arms. Please contact us for a complimentary consultation to ensure you are the right candidate.

WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT FEEL LIKE? WILL I BE SORE AFTER?

During a Neo treatment, you will feel intense muscle contractions in the treatment area, coupled with warmth. It’s a strange feeling at first, but most people quickly get used to it and actually end up liking it, much like any new workout. The Emtone feels similar to a hot stone massage using mechanical energy and heat.

Due to the technology, even though you are experiencing muscle contractions, you are also quickly releasing lactic acid which helps to soothe muscles and prevent soreness associated with typical workouts.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?

Tangible results can be felt (and sometimes seen!) right after your first treatment with positive results reported 12 weeks after the last session. Because the radio frequency side of the treatment is reducing fat cells, progressive ongoing results are expected.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

Taut + Toned is non-invasive and carries with it little, if any downtime.

HOW DO I PREPARE?

Taut + Toned can only be applied on areas of the body which are free from excess hair. It is highly recommended that you shave the area on the day of your procedure. On the day of your procedure be sure to remove any jewelry in the treatment area. Other than that, there is no other necessary preparation required for a Neo treatment, although it’s always a good idea to come to your body treatments well hydrated.
