It’s crucial to entrust your face to a professional whose results consistently deliver a natural look aligned with your goals.About six years ago, Dr. Hui administered fillers to my cheeks, and the effects endured for many years. "I have been seeing Dr. Austin for 4 years now. I initially saw her when I was experiencing some difficult to treat acne in my early 20s. She listened to my concerns and really educated me on proper skin care. Since then she has continued to help provide new products/recommendations based on my needs at that time. I have also been seeing her for filler and botox treatments for the past two years. She has always listened to what I wanted and given me incredible results. She keeps things natural and really has an amazing eye for the face and facial structure. Beyond her work, she is a really incredible doctor. "Dr. Hui Austin is truly one of the best Cosmetic Dermatologists in the country. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is stylish and chic, has an amazing personality and is dedicated to her patients. She is gifted. I have been her patent for the last year or two and have had Botox, various fillers & Kybella and most recently the Novo thread lift. The thread lift results are magnificent. They were almost immediate and have transformed my facial profile. My cheeks and chin line are beautifully defined but also look natural. Dr. Hui Austin combined the thread lift with dermal fillers and I also had a little Botox touch up. I feel so beautiful. I really do. My confidence is through the roof. "Dr. Hui is in a league of her own! - My entire experience from the moment I walked in far exceeded any expectation I could have ever imagined. Dr. Hui is truly an artist! I have been to so many plastic surgeons and dermatologists trying to correct the shadows that I see on my forehead but NOBODY was able to correct them until I came to see Dr. Hui. My forehead is very small and it was fairly flat, with multiple recessed ridges that appeared as dark shadows. I would get botox to prevent the appearance of wrinkles but nothing seemed to erase the darkness around my temples and the depression in the center of my forehead that seemed to negatively exaggerate all of my other facial contours. Every other doctor that I had seen could not fix the issue, but Dr. Hui completely understood my vision and knew exactly what I needed. She put Belotero in my temples/forehead and it has completely changed my face! She contoured my forehead to perfection and brought back the balance/softness to my features. She also put a tiny bit in my nose and my upper lip to bring back the harmony and symmetry of my overall face. Her impeccable eye and amazing craftsmanship sets her apart from any other doctor and my results are beyond flawless. She is so warm and personable, and her work is complemented by her ethos of being very compassionate and genuine towards her patients. Most importantly, she is extremely honest and will not recommend unnecessary procedures. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire office staff, who go above and beyond to get you into your appointment and always make you feel welcome. I was consistently SO late to my appointments but the office ALWAYS got me into the appointment with such grace and professionalism. "At 38 I noticed I was getting dark circles under my eyes. After much research, I decided on Belotero, and the offices of Dr. Kathleen M. Welsh and and Dr. Andrea Hui at Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology. My first appt with Dr. Hui was great. She listened to all my concerns. I told her I was on a budget, but still wanted to take care of my skin longterm and she said no problem, she already had a regimen in mind for me and my price range. And we discussed Belotero. Over the next two months I followed the skin care regimen. I love the products! I use a gentle cleanser and tretinoin gel from OBAGI. No side effects from the gel and it has lasted forever - just a pea! And I really love the Kathleen M. Welsh Restorative Bio-Therapy daily moisturizer and the Retinol Eye Repair. My complexion started looking better immediately. After 2 months, I got the Belotero done. I was a bit nervous but the staff at Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology is amazing and totally made me comfortable. Dr. Hui was again lovely, so kind and very adept at what she does, I wasn't uncomfortable at all. The results were immediate and subtle. Aside from a couple small marks from the needle, which were gone in a day or two, I had no swelling or pain. It was still my face, my eye area, all my natural features - nothing changed, and yet that tired look was gone. The dark circle was gone. It was beyond subtle, it was natural. I've had it for over 3 months now and it looks better than ever. It seems like the product settles out over time. I love the results! I feel like I've made a great choice with this practice. "Dr. Andrea Hui is the best dermatologist I have ever been to on every level. She is kind, extremely knowledgeable and supremely skilled. Before I was even a patient of Dr. Hui's she actually advised me on the questions I should ask other dermatologists before I began getting botox, and filler. She has been my dermatologist for about 3 years now and I can honestly say my face and skin are exactly where I want them to be.
I am now 34 years and I originally went to see Dr. Hui because I was starting to get the "I look tired even when I'm not tired" look under my eyes - I was also beginning to lose fullness in my cheeks. What I love about going to Dr. Hui is that her work is so subtle you see YOU not filler or botox. She has done wonders with subtly filling in under my eyes and filling out my cheeks just enough to get rid of the pesky little smile lines. She also helped me with my skin care regimen which got my skin back to the glowy look I had in my 20's. I really do get compliments from friends and strangers about the quality of skin. I am a performer and I always get compliments from makeup artists about my cheekbones to which I smile to myself and thank Dr. Hui.
She is not the Dr. to go to if you want to look like you've had work done. She's the Dermatologist to go to when you want to see the best version of yourself. I literally cannot thank Dr. Hui enough."
"I am compelled to write another review on Dr. Hui because I am just so amazed with her talent. She is an exceptional dermatologist. I first saw her in Sept. 2014 to clear up my skin for my up-coming wedding. Not only did she clear up my skin super fast but she transformed my skin entirely. At my initial visit I was just desperate for clear skin but this miracle doctor gave me much more than clear skin; she gave me healthy, glowing skin, which was not something I ever thought I could have. Once I achieved totally clear and radiant skin and since I trust her completely, I began to experiment with filler. Love the results. I recently went back to get filler in my lips and am totally happy. It didn't hurt at all (and I am a big wimp) and she does it in such a way that you don't get that awful duck-lip (unless that's your kind of thing...). To say I am happy with Dr. Hui is an understatement- she and her team are truly so amazing! I just wish I met her years ago so I could have avoided all the subpar derms I used in the past!"

My experience with Dr. Hui has been wonderful and very pleasant. She treated around my eyes with Belotero using the blunt-tipped cannula to minimize bruising and to create a much more natural result. The eyes are very difficult to treat because there is little room for error; also I have a condition which causes me to bruise much more easily, so being treated with the cannula was very important. My results were fantastic. My eyes looked perfectly natural and symmetrical. I continue to see Dr. Hui and she has treated other areas fillers and Botox. Thanks again Dr. Hui."
"Years Taken off a 66 Year Olds Hands - Brooklyn, NY - A small needle prick was made in each hand and a small cannula was inserted through the hole. Filler (Belotero) was injected into my hands through the cannula which was slowly moved around under my skin. The procedure was not painful and did not take a long time. My hands immediately looked fuller and more youthful."
"Doing Me - Botox, Belotero, & VBeam for Variety of Concerns - San Francisco, CA - It's been a few months since I was summarily broken up with by my former partner of 14 years and right before Valentine's was in an emotional place to focus on ME. I had noticed over the last year that my rosacea was getting worse and the under-eye area was getting noticeably "deeper" and not as full as it once was. In addition, having been raised in the sun, I have had a history of skin cancer (basal & squamous) and wanted to find a Dermatologist who could address the medical & my cosmetic needs. After asking friends who they recommend for a Dermatologist, I made an appointment with Dr. Hui. I could not be more pleased. I've seen Dr. Hui twice and I'm thrilled with my skin elasticity, glow, lift, lightness, and overall appearance! The great part is that I don't look "pulled back" or "plastic" or radically different in any way. I look like me and no one has said to me that I look like I've had "work done." The comments that I've had from friends and family is that I look like I'm glowing and no one knows what I've done! My first visit in February with Dr. Hui was to address the areas on my forehead and eye area with Botox. I had zero bruising and it didn't hurt! I expected the injections to hurt from what I had seen on tv but it didn't! I also had Belotero to fill in the deep recesses of my under eye area and immediately I saw the difference! For more 'intensive' procedures like laser, Dr. Hui and the lovely Medical Assistants do their utmost to minimize any discomfort with icepacks, numbing cream, and prednisone. I've had no bruising or discomfort from any of the procedures I've undergone. While there were needles involved with the Botox and Belotero, I didn't feel any pain whatsoever which really surprised me because I bruise very easily. On my second visit, Dr. Hui addressed my pre-cancerous spots, removed a number of skin tags, and I under went the VBeam laser treatment to my entire face to address the redness due to rosacea. Dr. Hui once again was very upfront about the procedure, costs, why she recommended the VBeam, and made sure that I was very comfortable and numb before the laser treatment. The laser treatment went actually faster than I thought it would and she did my entire face and it didn't hurt as much as I was expecting it to. What I appreciate about Dr. Hui is that she is a genuinely caring person and is passionate about her work which comes through. Dr. Hui isn't just a 'pusher' of products which I presume could be 'easy' for a Dermatologist. Dr. Hui takes you, your face, and issues/concerns into consideration and doesn't want to 'fix what's broken'. I have more treatments planned to address the redness of my skin and she'll continue to monitor my pre-cancerous spots and I look forward to seeing her again. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Hui for all your skin needs. Not only is she a great physician but she's really a very approachable and caring person."

These past procedures were not only painful but ineffective. The treatment I received from Dr. Hui was amazing. She used a combination of Radiesse, Juvederm, and Belotero. She was able to literally sculpt my face to give me a close to symmetrical appearance. Her cannula technique, which is a long needle with a round tip, was nearly painless. Past procedures where a regular needle was used were extremely painful and much less effective. The Radiesse was used to fill in where I had a lack of bone structure, this product has lasted more than a year already. Juvederm Was used in the softer areas where I had a lack of fat in my cheeks and lips. The Belotero was put in under my eyes to fill in any hollows and helped with the dark appearance I had. I am very happy with the results."
"I recently went to see Dr Andrea Hui in order to get two prominent blue veins removed by laser treatment from underneath my eyes. I was not looking forward to having the protective metal eye shields inserted but Dr Hui was so gentle I was in no discomfort whatsoever. The blue vein was removed by just a couple of short snaps from the laser and the results look fantastic. I was so impressed by Dr Hui's competence and skill that I went back to have a filler (Belotero) to improve the hollows underneath my eyes. I had the procedure done yesterday and it has taken years off my appearance and looks totally natural. Once again Dr Hui was extremely gentle and I had no bruising whatsoever on my fair skin."

"I've been a patient of Dr. Welsh's for years now. She is INCREDIBLE at what she does. I simply adore her. With a bit of apprehension I decided to see Dr. Hui in Kathleen's absence. What needless worry. She is as gifted, friendly and professional as Kathleen. I am always worried filler will change my looks. I fear the dreaded "duck lip" in particular. For that reason, and because I HATE needles, I rarely do it. Andrea is AMAZING! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the result. Love it. It's a dream for a thin lipped girl like me. Natural, kissable pillows!!!
