Most patients describe the heating sensation of Thermage as ‘spicy’ but tolerable. Due to the fact eye shields are required during treatment, we offer several options to increase comfort including antianxiety medication and/or Pronox (laughing gas). I've been going to Dr Welsh for over 30 years and quite often get complimented on how much younger I look than 77. Always asked who my doctor is. Dr Welsh and all of her staff are absolutely The Best! Caring, professional, and pioneers on treatments that really do make a difference in the way one feels when gazing into a mirror. I wish the the scale for the number of stars on this review would be 10. But even then I'd have to add a plus sign after that "score".

WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS FROM THERMAGE?
Your body responds to the pinpoint thermal injuries placed in the deep tissue by creating new collagen fibers. Collagen fiber formation takes place over several months, with full results expected 6 months after treatment. Ideally, patients will schedule a follow-up appointment at this 6-month mark, during which we will take a second set of photos and assess results with you. As with all of our in-office treatments, a strong topical skincare regimen will help to maximize the treatment results by further stimulating collagen fiber formation.
