The Body Clinic: New Safety Enhancements and Protocols

We are happy to announce that Dr. Welsh and Dr. Austin have decided to begin our reopening process for The Body Clinic! We have been working hard to implement new safety protocols: everything from wearing PPE and using extensive sanitation measures to maintaining social distance.

HOURS UPDATE

The Body Clinic will now be open from 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.  We will begin scheduling appointments starting Monday, May 18th, 2020.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

We are reducing the number of appointments to provide adequate time for proper sterilization as well as to continue providing a safe environment for patients and staff while maintaining social distancing. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we will inevitably be booking further out than usual.  

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

At least 24 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a COVID-19 Self-Assessment Form. If we do not receive your completed form, we will be required to cancel your appointment. After filling in the form, if you do not hear back from our staff, you are confirmed and we look forward to seeing you at your scheduled appointment time.
 

TIME OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

The door to The Body Clinic will remain locked at all times. Please do not arrive early for your appointment. Upon arrival, please knock or call us at 415-292-7950 and wait in the designated area of the hallway. You will be required to take a body temperature screening before entering our treatment rooms. This will be done in our main lobby which will be monitored for privacy.  If you have a temperature above 100.4 degrees or respiratory symptoms including a cough, we will immediately direct you to the nearest hospital.
 

FACE COVERING

Consistent with SF.gov protocols, all staff and patients will be required to wear a face mask or covering while in our clinic. We also require everyone to apply hand sanitizer upon entering.  If you forget to bring a mask with you, we will provide you with one.
 

SANITIZATION + CLEANING

The Body Clinic will be meticulously cleaned and sanitized between each patient. This includes wiping down all surfaces and equipment in each treatment room as well as in our lobby.  Hand sanitizer and soap and water is readily available for all to use.

The safety of our patients and our staff remains our highest priority. We appreciate your cooperation during this time.
