WHAT TO EXPECT during KYBELLA
Prior to your KYBELLA® treatment, one of our skilled providers will consult to determine how many vials will be used for your treatment. The price of the treatment varies depending on how much KYBELLA® is used and the number of treatments necessary to see results. You may need anywhere from one to six treatments, spaced one month apart to achieve optimum results. To make the procedure more comfortable we offer several options for anesthesia including: topical numbing cream, lidocaine injections, and/or topical cold spray. The provider will map out the area to be injected and then administer KYBELLA® injections into the submental fat. Immediately following injection, you may experience a temporary cramping sensation in the treatment area.
How long is recovery after KYBELLA?
Following your KYBELLA® treatment you may experience mild to moderate swelling, redness, and numbness in the injection site. Some patients also experience bruising that lasts up to two weeks. Results develop over eight weeks following the treatment. Based on your treatment goals and the amount of the fat under your chin, you may choose to treat again to achieve the best results.
