A Registered Nurse (RN) for nearly 20 years, Stacey received her nursing degree from the University of Loyola Chicago. She began her career in 1996 at the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Stacey entered the world of dermatology and cosmetic surgery after relocating to San Francisco in 1998. At the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery, she served as a surgical nurse and, later, as the practice’s nurse manager. She later joined Spa Radiance specializing in a variety of injectables and laser procedures. A long-time patient of Dr. Welsh’s practice, Stacey joined Dr. Welsh’s team in 2011, where she has provides exceptional care and great results. A native of Iowa, Stacey graduated with an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa. She has three daughters and is a long-time resident of San Francisco’s Richmond District. Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology is honored to have her on our medical staff.

I can't say enough great things about BACD. I always have a great experience when I visit. Today I went in for a Sofwave treatment administered by Stacey Baenen, who is a fantastic practitioner, both in terms of skill and "bedside manner". She always puts me at ease and gives great advice. Dr. Austin also popped in for a few minutes to say hello and offer some advice - she always goes the extra mile, which shows how invested she is in her patients. I am really impressed with everyone at BACD - everyone is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this practice.
