Chrissy Taw, RN, started out at Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology a decade ago as a licensed esthetician and medical assistant. Her deep interest in skincare led her to pursue a nursing degree at Samuel Merritt University. Now a Registered Nurse, Chrissy loves that she can combine her artistic eye and clinical knowledge to help individuals achieve their healthiest, best version of themselves. With a focus on patient care and aesthetic outcomes, she is dedicated to providing personalized treatments that enhance both beauty and well-being.
Chrissy finished her undergraduate degree at UCSB and initially launched her career in the fashion industry in New York City, where she honed her design and entrepreneurial skills. A native to the Bay Area, she returned to San Francisco and continued her fashion career, even developing a line of pet products, before making the pivot to the world of aesthetics and cosmetic dermatology.
When she’s not caring for patients, Chrissy enjoys cooking, traveling, practicing yoga, running, cycling, and playing the piano—passions that keep her balanced and inspired both personally and professionally.
