Had my next micro-needling session. Nurse told me I should expect to see more bleeding because deeper needles were used, but interestingly enough right after the treatment, I saw significantly less bruised face than the first time. It healed within 2 days as opposed to 5 days the first time. As for acne scars, after 2 treatments, I see no improvement at all. Overall skin texture has slightly improved though. I am still on the same skin care regime but have had bad breakouts several times since, it's hormonal as far as I can tell. Spironolactone seems to be the key to acne control. Price for the treatment was raised by $50 for my second appointment and I was informed only after the treatment had already been performed, I would give her benefit of doubt, must have forgotten. I enquired elsewhere and their prices are similar to what other clinics offer, so can't complain much. I was told that I would require 4-5 sessions to see results. Looking at the progress rate, I feel I probably would need at-least 10-15 of them to see any significant results. I don't think I am ready to spend that kind of money yet.Well, I posted a somewhat negative review between my appointments, a friend thought that was stupid of me. May be it was, I wouldn't be going back. More

Be advised: Dr. Welsh does not accept insurace of any kind.  I guess she has an "exclusive" clientele . . . although that MAY be an unfair generalization. More
